Better Together.
Hurricane’s Heroes has joined forces with Paws of Honor to help retired Military and Law Enforcement working K9s across the country receive the veterinary care they deserve!
Joining Forces:
Working K9s perform a variety of occupations alongside their Handlers ensuring our public is safe from threats or danger, along with protecting our country domestically and abroad. They are typically classified as equipment with their medical needs NO longer funded once their service is completed. Often times they have accelerated health issues like hip dysplasia or PTSD as a result of their years in the field.
K9 Hurricane served honorably with the Secret Service protecting our nation’s primary symbol of freedom and government, The White House. He stood guard alongside his Handler patrolling the grounds ensuring the President peace of mind running the country. With his titanium teeth he chased down intruders intending harm. His brave service created a legacy through Hurricane’s Heroes that will impact K9s and their Handlers for decades to come by making veterinary funding possible.
Paws of Honor is a nonprofit providing continued quality routine and specialized veterinary care to ALL retired Military and Law Enforcement K9s no matter the department, agency or branch of service at no cost to the Handler who becomes financially responsible for them upon retirement. Through Paws of Honor and their Veterinary Affiliates continued medical care is provided to each retired K9 enrolled in their Veterinary Care Program.
By donating to Hurricane’s Heroes your gift directly supports the care of the K9s sponsored by Hurricane’s Heroes enrolled in the Paws of Honor Veterinary Care Program! Though K9 Hurricane had a stellar and remarkable career serving this great nation, he too retired without the benefit of continued veterinary care.
Together Hurricane’s Heroes and Paws of Honor intend to make a difference by teaming up! Hurricane’s Heroes is a proud sponsor of Paws of Honor making continued veterinary care possible for these most deserving K9s!
