Typically when a working dog retires all the day-to-day care and medical bills become the Handler’s responsibility. This results in hard financial decisions during the phase of life when the K9s need it the most. This is where we come in!

To ensure these heroes live a long and happy retirement we want to remove the burden of medical bills from the Handlers and let their job simply be to give their partners the best “dog” life possible.
Hurricane’s Heroes, a federally recognized non-profit organization, provides “retired law enforcement and military dogs” with subsidized veterinary care so they can live a healthy life in retirement.
This organization is fully staffed on a 100% volunteer basis.
