Marshall Mirarchi

President & Founder | K9 Handler

Former United States Secret Service Special Operations Officer and “Dad” to K9 Hurricane. Marshall worked for the the USSS from 2006-2017 . Marshall was a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and in 2012 he joined the ERT K-9 unit. This was undoubtedly the best decision he ever made because that is when he met Hurricane. Marshall and K9 Hurricane worked together for 4 years until K9 Hurricane’s retirement in 2016.

Now that K9 Hurricane is retired, Marshall has made it his priority to make sure he gives K9 Hurricane the best life possible. The two travel together around the US and overseas to participate in awards and engagements on K9 Hurricane’s behalf.

Marshall graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Law from Kutztown University where he pitched for the Golden Bears as a 4-year varsity athlete.

Charles Mirarchi (Chuck)

IT Executive Consultant & CFO

Charles P. Mirarchi has operated at the CIO  in the Information Technology arena. 

Currently he is the Chief Information Officer at Contour Data Solutions. He reports to the CEO and defines IT strategy and policy. As an Executive, he collaborates with customer C Level executives. He designs and leads eCommerce systems, IT Infrastructure, Network Operations, Governance and Methods & Procedures. At Comcast he was responsible for Information Technologies spanning Development, Operations, Automation and Call Centers. He has extensive global responsibilities in IT Operations Architecture.

Chuck has held a variety of positions across Fortune 50 IT organizations including Comcast, Boeing & Verizon, in positions as Chief Systems Architecture, and Network Operations. He has held Executive Director level positions in Design of Billing and Ordering systems. Some notable architectures he has built are National Operations Centers communication centers across companies. Over the last 10 years he has focused on strategic initiatives for C level (CEO, COO, CIO, CTO) to improve ROI (return on Investment) with IT eco-systems.

Chuck truly embraces the role of Transformation Leader and Solutions. He is driven by creating a vision of a quality, commitment, and delight for the customer. His strategy centers on being a Fixer and a Builder.

Lisa Mirarchi

Secretary & Co-Founder | Volunteer

Animal lover and “Mom” to K9 Hurricane and Piper (Cane’s BFF). Lisa has an extensive background in visual marketing, spending most of her life in photo studios working in the retail industry for QVC, Boscov’s, Forever 21 and Laura Geller Beauty. After seeing first hand what a game changer life with a well trained dog can be, Lisa pivoted career paths and is now a Dog Trainer with Off Leash K9 Training. Helping owners communicate with their dogs on a higher level is something she finds extremely rewarding.

Her background and creativity proved helpful in building this website, as well as, generating content for K9 Hurricane’s social media pages.

Out of all the projects Lisa has worked on over the years, launching Hurricane’s Heroes has easily been one of her favorites.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Merchandise & Design from the University of Rhode Island. She is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys hiking with the dogs on trails that lead to epic views and large bodies of water.

Greg Anthony

Brand Manager

Originally from Pittsburgh, Greg worked at the White House as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from 2006-2011. He’s worked with United States Secret Service elements, Executive office of the President personnel , White House Military Office, as well as former Presidents. As of 2011, Greg has worked for other government elements as Chief of Human Performance for tactical groups specializing in operator longevity. His work has brought him around the globe to numerous countries.

Greg attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a degree in exercise physiology. While there, he played 4 years of ice hockey and was a member of the 2004 College Hockey East Championship team.

Greg’s knack for portrait art has lead him into help brand the Hurricane Heroes official logo, as well as other merchandise designs.

He currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his rescue pitbull, Kaia and continues being active in raising awareness for Hurricanes Heroes through various fundraising events.
